Considering the nature, purposes, and objectives of CSAIA, as already expressed in its statute, Considering that AI encompasses both global challenges and opportunities, Considering the critical historical moment for multilateral international relations, Considering the need to address AI challenges and opportunities through European and international cooperation that transcends physical and intellectual borders with an interdisciplinary and cross-cutting vision, Considering that scientific dialogue is an essential tool to ensure informed and forward-looking decisions, Considering that CSAIA is an international scientific discussion forum to identify and implement best practices and optimal solutions in AI, Convinced that the development of AI systems must remain at the service of humanity and the Rule of Law and contribute to the maintenance of Peace, In compliance with the highest European and international standards and applicable regulations, Addressing National, European, and International Institutions to initiate a constructive and operational dialogue based on shared principles, With the aim of facilitating the resolution of difficulties through interdisciplinary, cross-cutting, and international scientific treatment of the complex issues related to AI development and applications, With the aim of raising awareness among all stakeholders, CSAIA proposes the following declaration of intent for the adhesion of institutions wishing to participate in this dialogue and constructive approach.
