Artificial Intelligence and Cinema: CSAIA Fosters Scientific Dialogue Between Italy and China on the New Frontiers of Audiovisual Innovation
A Partnership Set to Grow
Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the audiovisual industry, reshaping creative processes, production workflows, and the future of cinematic storytelling.
Against this backdrop, CSAIA has promoted a high-level scientific dialogue between Italy and China, bringing together leading scholars, researchers, and industry experts to explore emerging opportunities, technological innovation, ethical challenges, and new models of international collaboration.
The initiative highlights the strategic importance of interdisciplinary research in guiding the evolution of AI-driven cinema, fostering responsible innovation, strengthening cultural exchange, and supporting the development of a more sustainable and human-centered audiovisual ecosystem.
An ambitious project
Bringing together all fields of knowledge, both scientific and humanistic, aims at the application of AI systems that allow in-depth learning of an infinite amount of data – Deep Learning – and the creation of neural networks – Neural Networks – that approximate human ones as closely as possible, facilitating every action.
CSAIA involves in its Scientific Committee members from numerous universities, entrepreneurs conducting research across all fields of knowledge, and public and private research institutions to provide educational training, courses, and master’s programs, and to implement programs – Machine Learning, Robotics, Natural Language Processing (NLP) – aimed at applying AI for the benefit of the community in a wide range of sectors.

ENCYCLICAL LETTER
MAGNIFICA HUMANITAS
POPE LEO XIV
ON SAFEGUARDING THE HUMAN PERSON IN THE TIME OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
“La technology is not an “antagonistic force against the human person”, nor “evil in itself”. It is not neutral, because it takes on the face of those who conceive it, fund it, regulate it, and use it.”
Building for good. Remaining human.
On May 15, 2026, the 135th anniversary of Leo XIII’s Rerum Novarum, through which the social doctrine of the Church was founded, Pope Leo XIV signed his first encyclical,
“Magnifica humanitas on the “protection of the human
person in the age of Artificial Intelligence”.
An appeal to safeguard “a magnificent humanity inhabited by God,” promoting truth, dignity of work, social justice, and peace.

AI-TUTOR
THE DOUBLE-VALIDATION MODEL FOR CONVERSATIONS AND ADVANCED TEACHINGThe AI Tutor aims to study and measure, through conversational methods, that branch of human knowledge which artificial intelligence represents, shaping understanding with authoritative, original, and reliable content.
And who would wish to put an end to human intellects? Who would claim to have already seen and known everything that exists in the world of the sensible and of knowledge?
