Mission
The mission of the Study Centre is to bring together interdisciplinary knowledge, both scientific and humanistic.
It was therefore essential to combine the humanistic aspect of the issue with jurisprudence, philosophy, the arts, labour law, together with medicine, engineering, physics, mathematics and cybersecurity.
We wanted to involve both universities and research companies at 360 degrees, believing that studies and applications of artificial intelligence can arise from a path of collaboration between the public and private sectors.
A tool that is in the hands of man, a real new industrial revolution of the third millennium. The great innovation represented by this Study Center lies in thinking about artificial intelligence involving all areas of knowledge: in this the Study Center was the first to arrive. There are no concrete realities, to date, in which there is a union between disciplines as different as within our reality.
Artificial intelligence will cross our social life, it's a very delicate anthropological leap, it's a philosophical question.
CSAIA represents an ambitious project that puts us in tune with the future that has already arrived, beyond the rhetoric, and that wants to combine the scientific dimension with the cultural one, the academic component with the industrial and professional one.
L’intelligenza artificiale attraverserà la nostra vita sociale, è un salto antropologico molto delicato, è una questione filosofica. Serve consapevolezza, dobbiamo studiare questo nuovo strumento, non dobbiamo esserne dominati e questo anche grazie al frutto delle nostre ricerche, che metteremo al servizio della società, attraverso un parterre molto assortito, che fornirà un osservatorio veramente importante. L’intelligenza artificiale va a impattare sui profili normativi, andiamo a toccare punti sensibili della convivenza civile e riteniamo che ci sia una strumentazione che deve necessariamente aggiornarsi. L’impianto normativo risulta in ritardo rispetto ai nuovi scenari che si aprono e questo è un altro aspetto su cui puntiamo l’attenzione. Il fine sono la promozione umana e la convivenza pacifica, il rispetto delle libertà fondamentali dell’individuo, il concetto di sicurezza. Il campo dell’etica è prioritario in questa discussione.
